OK Runner is a locally owned, family business started in 1995.  For sixteen years, we havetaken pride in our ability to help you find the perfect shoe, whether for running, walking or everyday use.  The shop was started by the Thompson boys – Gus, the father, and his two sons, Craig and Tim.  Over the past sixteen years, the shop has grown into a place where the Norman community comes to get their running supplies.

Six years ago, we decided it was time to expand.  We moved north to Edmond and opened our second store.  At both locations, we provide an extensive shoe fitting process for customers.  All of our staff is trained to look at the tendencies of your foot, analyze your gait and note your foot type.  We’re confident our staff can find the shoe that will fit your needs perfectly!  We have top quality fitness apparel and tons of running accessories, socks, insoles, endurance supplements and watches.

Over the years, we’ve enjoyed getting involved in organizing running groups, timing races, coaching everyday runners and working with the local cross country and track teams.
